 TimeTrackerLE
is a specialized portable data collection software that
installs directly onto your PDA and allows for instantaneous
documentation of data.
The units prove to be a valuable “paper free” approach to
collecting data. In addition, they demonstrate a higher level
of accuracy than traditional paper based time study techniques.
The reason for the higher accuracy is attributed to the instantaneous
recording of start/stop times, which are automatically logged
into an SQL database, while the engineer can focus on monitoring
work elements. This digital time stamping also eliminates
transcribing of time measurements from paper to a database
and facilitates an efficient method to automatically calculate
key summary statistics.
