Industrial Engineer (Louisville)

Overview
IDS Engineering has a full-time opening for an Industrial Engineer. This position will work from the Headquarters Office located in the Eastpoint Business Center in Eastern Jefferson County. Job Responsibilities
This position will participate on teams and lead activities involving the following types of projects and work. Some travel required (1 to 3 days at a time, all in the U.S.).

1. Work Measurement and Time Study
2. Lean Manufacturing Studies
3. Process Re-Engineering Studies
4. Facility Layout
5. Facility Locations Analysis
6. Warehouse Slotting Analysis using Slot3D tools w/AutoCAD 2007
7. Supply Chain and Transportation Analysis
8. Client Training on Software and Systems Implementation
9. Simulation Modeling
10. Project Management

Preferred Qualification
Highly qualified applicants will have the following qualifications:

1. Industrial Engineering Degree with 2 or more years practical experience
2. Expert Level Microsoft Office Tools, AutoCAD, and SQL Database
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
4. Strong Statistical and Analytical capability
5. Experience with Simulation Modeling
6. Experience with Leading and Managing Projects
