IDS Engineering has evolved into an experienced management

History
February 27, 1998
Integrated Distribution Solutions (IDS) was created and the
first office opened in Charlotte, NC. The company’s early strengths
were servicing small to medium size companies in the Carolina’s
as a systems integrator with specialization in integrated storage, retrieval,
and information systems.
November 2000
By the end of 2000, IDS had grown to provide leading industrial
engineering and consulting services for both manufacturing and distribution
organizations throughout the United States. To facilitate this rapid
growth the company’s corporate operation were moved to Louisville,
KY. The Charlotte office was maintained as a sales office.
June 2001
IDS achieves professional engineering registration for the
firm.
December 2001
IDS expands its engineering discipline capability by creating
a software engineering department and officially launches a “Logistics
Enterprise” series of software capability designed to capitalize
on expanding opportunities of web based applications, supply chain and
logistics optimization.
April 2002
IDS continues to grow in the South and to support emerging
markets a sales office is opened in Tampa, FL.
September 2002
IDS officially changes the companies name to IDS Engineering
(d.b.a) in order to better support the successful business model that
has been achieved with industrial and software engineering disciplines.
October 2002
IDS strengthens its sales force and extends its capability
in a growing market by opening a sales office in Indianapolis, IN.
Today, IDS continues to build and grow based on fundamental principals
of listening to the customer needs, servicing the customer with professional
engineering talent, and adding value to the customers' organization.
IDS Engineering is a privately held company.
